The staff were very curt and seemed annoyed that we were there. My room wasn't very clean (filthy bathroom mirror, fingerprints on the lamps and doors, debris on the carpet. Everything felt aged and looked worn. The bed was okay, but could have been much more comfortable. The picture quality on the TV was terrible and there were limited channels to choose from. The elevator doors were covered with hand and finger prints, as were all of the hotel doors...gross! I watched one of the staff members filling the coffee station items and he touched about every possible surface on the coffee stirrers, which was also gross. As a woman traveling alone, I was dismayed that they put me in an adjoining room (without letting me know), it was very loud and there was a lot of traffic in the hallway, and I didn't feel entirely safe. I don't recommend this hotel if you want polite staff, cleanliness, and a good night's sleep.

Everything about my stay was top-tier: • The room was spotless and beautifully designed • The dining options were delicious—definitely worth indulging in • The 24-hour fitness center was a huge plus • And the location in the heart of downtown made it easy to explore the city This stay easily gets a 5 out of 5 from me. I loved every single second of it and would absolutely go back the next time I’m in Detroit. Highly recommend!
