I would like a microwave in the room because I went with my baby and I needed to go downstairs to be able to warm his milk inside the reception shop. The beds were perfect, and the reception staff was very kind and considerate."

"I love this historic property! It has become my “go-to” when in DC. With an expansive terrace and beautiful gardens that overlook Rock Creek Park, it feels like an oasis resort within the city. And yet, it is only a short block from a red line Metro station, offering easy access to the rest of the city. Additionally, I believe it is the closest hotel to both the Smithsonian Zoo and the National Cathedral. The hotel is nearly 100 years old but quite well-maintained. On this last visit, our room did have an “old musty” smell, a singular distraction in an otherwise stellar stay. "
