"We booked this room on short notice the first week of August. We come to Ocean City a lot in the off season and we usually stay at the Holiday Inn because it's very cheap in the off season. We have never stayed at the Day's Inn before and didn't know what to expect. It was the only ocean front balcony room that I could find under $300 a night. The ratings on expedia and hotels.com were very good so we booked it for two nights. I guess if you're very picky you could find some faults. It's an older building with a fairly recent interior remodel at least in the ocean front building. I don't need perfection, but I am very picky about things being clean and this place is very clean, the beds were comfortable with clean sheets and pillows. The bathroom was remodeled and the air conditioner was cold. We had a nice balcony overlooking the boardwalk and the ocean with brand new composite decking style chairs instead of a flimsy plastic ones. I love to swim in the ocean but on the two days that we were there, it was infested with jellyfish so I did something I don't usually do and swam in one of the two pools on sight to cool off and both pool areas were clean with nice furniture and very well kept. At any given time you will see several employees around the pool areas and the parking lots constantly cleaning up. Having never stayed in this building before, I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others. We enjoyed our stay!"

Bonita Beach Hotel

"My daughter and I spent 3 nites @ Bonita Beach. The room was comfortable and clean. We utlized the fridge but not the microwave. Our bathroom sink did not drain properly. We decided not to let mgmt know until we checked out. I'm sure they would have fixed it, had we told them sooner. We used the sink in the kitchenette with no issues. The hallways were recently painted and the carpet in the hallway was brand new. No tired old hotel smell!"

"Definitely family friendly and in a really convenient spot. The building could use a little pick me up- repainting, bigger pool area, better post beach showers and out door bathrooms (they were pretty nasty). But our room was super clean, the staff was very accommodating and there was always something for the kids to do without even leaving the hotel. So, like I said, needs a bit of a facelift which I’m sure is hard to keep up with when you have harsh ocean like conditions. But would totally come back!"
