"Good one night stay."
Staff were really friendly. They had only taken over the hotel a week before (an unexpected early move-in date for them) and, considering that, they were doing amazing well. Food portions were really small (first english breakfast in my life where I was given one sausage). I was disappointed that the orange juice was not fresh and the coffee was truly awful - sorry but it was either out of date or, what I suspect, is not enough coffee granules had been poured in. Whilst I appreciated the price for the B&B was not expensive, I would have happily paid a little more to get a better breakfast. The same went for a cheeseboard which was not cheap but the portions were very small. It just felt like quite a few corners were being cut with regards to food. Room was comfy and the bathroom was fresh looking (small things like small toiletry bottles would help it be even better). Great shower is always welcome. I'm sure that with a few months of settling in this will be a wonderful place to stay!

"Nice hotel, central location"
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and Seb was an amazing hostess. She was very friendly and welcoming right from the start and nothing was too much for her. The hotel itself is in a perfect location - right opposite the train station and in the centre of Scarborough so if you can avoid driving then don't. The hotel itself was okay. It wasn't a 5-star grand room that we stayed in but it served its purpose for us. The only bad point I would say is that I was paranoid about getting blood and make-up on the towels as they charged you extra if you stained their towels. Sometimes, accidents happen and I think charging people if blood gets on a towel is a little bit extreme as some people may be prone to nose bleeds etc. and I am quite good at getting make-up of my face but again, sometimes I may miss a little bit but I understand with make-up as some people wear fake tan and that can completely ruin your towels. Again, that is the ONLY fault I would say about this hotel but it certainly wouldn't stop me staying here again. Thank you for a lovely and pleasant stay Seb and Fernando, I'm sure we will see you soon.

"Welcoming and homely"
I booked this bed and breakfast for 3 nights, for my husbands birthday. The owner is a lovely lady, who makes you feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble in helping to make our stay enjoyable. Location is about a 10-15 min walk from york city centre. Diamonds Villa also offer free parking for the duration of your stay, which is handy 'cus the car parks are not cheap!

"Everything you want"
Lovely picturesque building with nice, clean, comfortable rooms and en-suite facilities. Outstanding hosts and staff, very friendly and keen to ensure that the customer is well served and their needs meet. Outstanding breakfast for a relatively small establishment offering lovely local produce, wide choice, freshly cooked but quickly served, all enjoyed in a lovely sunny breakfast room able to accommodate all guests at the same time comfortably. Rooms are comfortable and secure with TV with wide range of channels and Internet, bathroom soap, and teas/coffee/biscuits. Very good quick WiFi Internet access.

"Blacksmiths Arm Welcome"
Stayed here several times. The hotel is excellent, the staff are amazing, the food is so gorgeous - just too much of it ! The rooms (and we have several different ones) are warm, inviting and immaculate. All have TVs and tea making facilites with an ample choice of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, all are en-suite and the bathrooms are spotless along with a good supply of towels and comp toiletries. Plenty of car parking space The only downside to this place is time passes too quickly ! Great place to stay and i would happily recommend it.
