The hotel is modern and clean. High floor gives me a good view enjoying the rising sun. The breakfast is full of choice and is generous. Also the staff are very helpful during breakfast time. The hotel situates in the district that have shopping mall and many decent restaurants and cafes. Local food is around. Also it is next to the MRT station offering convenient transportation and connecting to other popular places.

A really lovely place to stay. Excellently located just out of the city centre and close to public transport links, it was very convenient for access to all of Singapore's 'must see' attractions. We had a short but excellent stay at the Standard. It is a very modern and well designed hotel with some great amenities including an outdoor pool. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and the hotel offers a free shuttle to the shopping area on Orchard Road which is a nice touch. However it is conveniently situated and only a short walk to the shopping. The staff were all excellent and we can't wait to return.
