Well curated room for a 5 night trip. Pillows were a bit soft but you can ask for a firmer one. Amenities around the hotel were very nice, pool, pool bar and the outdoor gym were delightful. The small quiet pockets were a nice touch too. Hotel was in a nice quiet area, good 10 minute walk to Orchard road.

Amazing stay we had at The Standard Singapore! My Hyatt status was recognized as well as my Expedia Platinum status. The staff are amazing, specially ‘Yacket’ at the Kaya resto! He is very attentive to our needs, always smiling, efficient and respectful yet amicable! Our rooms are always spotless, the housekeeping is doing a wonderful job! Thank u all so much! I highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed for a week and could’ve stayed another! Such a great location, spotless, hip, and friendly staff with delicious food at diner, at the pool, and the restaurant. The room had modern equipment and the beds were super comfy. Zero noise from outside. Key staff were: SuSu in the restaurant, Tom out at the pool bar, and Tasha who gave the Thursday tour from the Standard bus! She was so fun and adorable! Honestly i will come back to Singapore to stay at this hotel because it was just so easy and enjoyable.

The Standard, Singapore makes an excellent visual first impression with its chic, modern urban design. The location just off Orchard Road is very convenient for getting around, and the hotel did accommodate us with a helpful 2:00 PM late checkout on our final day. However, while the rooms are space-efficient, the living area felt quite tight and cramped for two people to navigate comfortably. Unfortunately, several amenities fell well short of expectations. The gym setup was a major disappointment, as it is located outdoors with virtually no equipment. Working out outside is highly impractical in Singapore’s heat, humidity, and the regional haze we experienced during our stay. Additionally, the noise insulation is exceptionally poor. The walls are paper-thin, and we could clearly hear our neighbors talking at all hours, which severely disrupted our sleep. The most frustrating part of our stay was the complete lack of flexibility from management regarding a medical issue. Having prepaid for daily breakfast, I unfortunately came down with a gastrointestinal bug. When my mother explained the illness to the manager and requested a partial refund or compromise for the remaining two unused breakfasts, he flatly refused. Worse than the refusal was his noticeably dismissive demeanor toward my mother. For a brand of this standing, showing zero empathy or goodwill during a medical situation represents incredibly poor service recovery. I cannot recommend staying here.

It was perfection, new hotel, amazing staff, friendly service, almost died with the cherry cassis tart, clean rooms, super cool decor, view of pool, free shuttle to mall and transport hub, walking distance to the unesco botanical gardens. By far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for value, and I’ve been all over the world. Will definitely stay again!!!!
