"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room (127) was spacious and well equipped, in a quieter position looking over the car park away from but conveniently located for the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again 👍"

"Enjoyed a 2 night stay, although room was a bit snug, it was clean and comfortable and had full length mirror and plenty of plug sockets which is always good. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar. The breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from ... delicious fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal and cereal bars, every spread you could think of for toast and the cooked breakfast was really tasty, again with lots of choice. We would happily stay again if visiting Amble in the future 😊"

"Nice room although not very private in terms of balcony area -in full display of pub garden!! Good location for boat to Farne Islands and travelling to Lindisfarne etc. Very small car park."

"A lovely hotel with a lively bar and restaurant. Rooms was small and the shower smaller but as a one night stop off, adequate. Superb ales and great food offering. All staff were lovely"

"A wonderful stay in this beautiful location. Rooms spotlessly clean and comfortable, friendly and efficient staff throughout. We had a warm welcome and a simple check in, our room was ready on time and it was a great, characterful space. Wonderful Temple Spa toiletries to try, soft and comfortable mattress for a great, peaceful night's sleep. We were in a room next to the pub, did not hear any noise at all, with parking right outside. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, lots of hot and cold options to suit all requirements, served up again by a friendly and efficient team. We ate in the pub, the fish and chips are out of this world, but on this visit we tried the seafood platter, which was excellent. Lots of different options, the food coming from the kitchen all looked wonderful and the place was very busy - I would recommend booking a table if you are planning to eat here, or you may be disappointed! All in all, 10 out of 10 and we will be back just as soon as we are able, bringing our pooch with us, as the place and the people here welcome dogs warmly. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
Luxury Holiday Cottage Sleeps 8, near the beach between Bamburgh and Seahouses

"We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The West House for a family reunion. The house is lovely - spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The location cannot be beat. It is a short walk to the beach and convenient for restaurants in Seahouses, Bamburgh, and Beadnell. It is a great base for exploring the Northumbrian coast. Lynne was a very responsive host. We would definitely recommend and love to return."

"Hostel style with a very nice and clean kitchen area. Nice thick bedsheets and comfy beds. Very conveniently walkable to Seahouses for boat trips from the harbor or a walk down the beach to Bamburgh castle."
