"I loved the room which my son adored especially with the special touch of the bunk bed and loved the fact that it was all wood and stone and not plastic like most new "cabins". Loved everything, I wish we had stayed longer"

"Had a lovely stay in the one bedroom apartment with it's comfortable and roomy seating area and good size kitchen if you don't feel like eating out. Excellent location close to the high street, restaurants & shops Castle & Gardens and Barter Books. Tracy the owner was so friendly and helpful."

"Quirky hotel with an interesting story in the centre of Alnwick. The staff are all lovely and make the customer feel very welcome. Check-in and out is straightforward. The Harry Potter themed rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Super clean bathroom with a great shower and nice toiletries. Great breakfast including full English or continental options. No parking facilities at the hotel but plenty of free 24hrs public car parks within a few minutes’ walk. Would highly recommend!"

"Very happy with the hotel. Staff helpful, room clean and walk in shower good. No lift but staff took suitcase up two floors to room. Plenty of free public parking if we couldn’t get into hotel car park. Seven minutes walk to Alnwick Gardens and Castle."

"This was a very convenient stopover for me travelling back from Orkney. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I was also taking the opportunity to visit Barter Books - The Oaks is just a 5 min walk up the road and oh so convenient !!"
