"This is far from a 'boutique' apartment! It felt like a converted cellar, with very cold and dirty flagstones that were loose and breaking up in places. The apartment wasn't entirely clean. The bed was made up with fresh sheets, the kitchen surfaces had been cleaned and the bathroom was clean. However some of cookware was filthy and there were lots of places that obviously hadn't been cleaned in weeks with lots of dust and webs. "Lovely stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. On the 1st night and morning only 1 out 3 lifts were working. By the 2nd evening 2 out of 3 lifts were running. Breakfast buffet was great and it was restocked quickly when anything ran out."

"Hotel was lovely, staff were helpful. Only giving a 4 star because on this occasion I could not sleep due to a loud rumbling noise kept going off through the night, as well as the receptionist knocking on the doors of surrounding rooms at one point until found the one they were after. Not sure if the rumbling noise was beyond the hotels control or not. Everything else was 5 star and so were my last 2 visits, love this hotel."
