"We requested a room with a walk-in shower and we were glad to receive one. A separate combo tub/shower was also in the room, but it looked potentially dangerous for anyone with balance or mobility limitations. The rest of the room was well-appointed, spacious, and clean. The breakfast was wonderful and all staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor was quirky and amusing. The location is very quiet yet only a few blocks from the abbey."

"We visited again after a few years to celebrate our anniversary at the hotel we got married in. We arrived early via the park and ride bus which stops outside and left our bags at reception. When we returned, check in was quick. The room was lovely and spacious and the shower was great. Breakfast was lovely. We will definitely return."

"Fabulous hotel and amenities. Spa facilities only available free to hotel guests 8-10am and 7-9pm, outside these times it’s £70 per person, which seems excessive, especially with room rates so high. A simple booking system would allow the spa to prevent overcrowding, without the high fees."

"We arrived late after a stressful journey and the hotel couldn't have been a better antidote. The room service was excellent, the food genuinely good, and the bath alone was worth the trip. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful. We didn't get to experience everything the hotel has to offer, but what we did was enough to make us want to come back and do it properly. A genuinely restorative stay."
