"This is a very nice place to stay at. Our room was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed. The staff, in particular the front desk, were super friendly, took time to answer all our questions thoroughly and helped in any way possible. For us, only the bar/breakfast area and somewhat slow service prevented a full five start rating."

"We appreciated the location which provided great walkability to all interesting points. We enjoyed the restaurant and had a delicious gourmet dinner. We had a pleasant respite in the bar and my husband enjoyed the pool, sauna, and steam room. Our room was comfortable and I appreciated the big soaker bathtub."

"Rooms were clean, breakfast and lounge was well stocked and the staff were polite and helpful. The location is easy to get anywhere and though no parking, they have some discount while parking at the Waverly station car park. There's a lot of scaffolding and elevators are limited due to construction"

"Excellent staff who were extremely helpful as we are from Canada and didn't quite know our way around. The amenities were fine and the location was great as it was walking distance to Edinburgh castle,Haymarket station and Hollyrood castle. Plenty of restaurants nearby on Bread st and Morrison road."

"The only complaint - and it’s probable because I’m American and not used to it - but the water pressure for the shower was … less than desirable. Just took a while for it to get up to a decent pressure to actually be useful. Other than that, I quite enjoyed the stay."
