Great placeWe spent one night in this fine hotel. The room was great (the bed was a bit small). The breakfast was great and healthy. The hotel runs a code of honor allowing guests to help themselves in the bar and leave a note... Ruth Haephrati Michael Haephrati

An excellent choice for an autumn breakWe visited this bed and breakfast for a much needed break and were the only guests. The staff treated us like lords and we were very happy with the facilities. The breakfasts were excellent and there was a good choice. There are numerous restaurants in the vicinity.

Convenient for the area.No complaints, staff mainly good, barman very good, reception very good. Restaurant generally very good, maybe a little extra training needed for one or two. Food quality and presentation good. Menu for evening meal could be a bit more varied.

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of NorwichI had a very relaxing stay at Park Farm. The hotel staff were very welcoming and were all friendly and helpful. The food was lovely, they have modern equipment in the gym and a fair size pool. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Just needed a few days to get away from workThis place was ideal. Very well presented, quiet location on the River Bure. (They have a motor launch you can rent for the day). Restaurant food very good, maybe a tad too much for dining every night; though I did over hear more simple dishes being offered. We hope to return some time in the future. ...

Pocket Guide: Luxury Hotels Hotels in Norfolk

Proud of its idyllic countryside and Victorian seaside resorts, Norfolk is quickly developing into one of the nation's foremost holiday spots. Not far from London, the eastern county is particularly popular with those looking to escape from the city and unwind in a peaceful and beautiful environment close to the sea. Of course, the county's impressive selection of exclusive luxury hotels makes it that bit more appealing.

Grand Properties

Even with a list of facilities as long as your arm, no luxury hotel worth visiting is housed in a mundane building. All the finest luxury hotels in Norfolk are set within grand properties, often surrounded by tranquil, gorgeous gardens.

Brastred's is a boutique B&B which serves as a perfect example of the kind of opulence on offer in this spectacular county. The period property houses a number of individually themed rooms and is adjoined to one of the county's best restaurants.

Exclusive Golfing

One glimpse of the luscious Norfolk countryside and you'll understand immediately why the county is so popular with golfers. While there are plenty of first-rate golf courses dotted around the county (the north coast, in particular), a number of Norfolk's most lavish hotels actually have their own course.

Sprowston Manor Marriott Hotel and Country Club is a refined four-star resort which gives guests access to a challenging golf course, complete with driving range and putting green. There's also an exquisite restaurant within the hotel.

Kick Back in the Spa

Booking into a luxury hotel is all about indulgence. If exquisite grounds and the tranquillity of the Norfolk countryside aren't quite enough to help you fully unwind, Norfolk's spa hotels might just be the answer.

Dunston Hall boasts its own spa and health centre. With a range of holistic therapies and beauty treatments to choose from, this rural hotel is guaranteed to help guests find total relaxation during their stay. There's also a good-sized indoor swimming pool, which is flanked by a state of the art sauna and steam room. The stunning hotel is set within ample grounds, which makes it an ideal choice for a wedding venue.
