No complaints, staff mainly good, barman very good, reception very good. Restaurant generally very good, maybe a little extra training needed for one or two. Food quality and presentation good. Menu for evening meal could be a bit more varied.
We spent one night in this fine hotel. The room was great (the bed was a bit small). The breakfast was great and healthy. The hotel runs a code of honor allowing guests to help themselves in the bar and leave a note... Ruth Haephrati Michael Haephrati
Friendly and homely environment, rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts on both days were superb. Lots to do in the area and would come again.

I've stayed in a lot of B&B'S, this is the best by far. Beautiful decortated throuht out beautifully furnished, the owners very pleasant. The rooms are so clean, i could not find any dirt or dust, when i go back to Norfolk i will be staying there again, excellent.
This place was ideal. Very well presented, quiet location on the River Bure. (They have a motor launch you can rent for the day). Restaurant food very good, maybe a tad too much for dining every night; though I did over hear more simple dishes being offered. We hope to return some time in the future. ...
Nice location, away from it all and central to a lot of attractions. Food very good, staff very good but it is an on going project at the moment so still work to be done. It will be very good when it is all complete and the rooms all have on suites.
Proud of its idyllic countryside and Victorian seaside resorts, Norfolk is quickly developing into one of the nation's foremost holiday spots. Of course, the county's impressive selection of exclusive luxury hotels makes it that bit more appealing.
Even with a list of facilities as long as your arm, no luxury hotel worth visiting is housed in a mundane building. All the finest luxury hotels in Norfolk are set within grand properties, often surrounded by tranquil, gorgeous gardens.
Brastred's is a boutique B&B which serves as a perfect example of the kind of opulence on offer in this spectacular county. The period property houses a number of individually themed rooms and is adjoined to one of the county's best restaurants.
One glimpse of the luscious Norfolk countryside and you'll understand immediately why the county is so popular with golfers. While there are plenty of first-rate golf courses dotted around the county (the north coast, in particular), a number of Norfolk's most lavish hotels actually have their own course.
Sprowston Manor Marriott Hotel and Country Club is a refined four-star resort which gives guests access to a challenging golf course, complete with driving range and putting green. There's also an exquisite restaurant within the hotel.
Booking into a luxury hotel is all about indulgence. If exquisite grounds and the tranquillity of the Norfolk countryside aren't quite enough to help you fully unwind, Norfolk's spa hotels might just be the answer.
