The best welcome ever, the receptionist a blond lady were super helpful, 10/10 in knowledge, I had to book for the sauna and gym and the girls were super helpful at that time. Close to the Central Station so a handy location for the eurostar. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Great base if your happy to walk (or cycle) to the main attractions. I was on the 2nd floor on the corner and outside noise was not issue. At points you can hear the trams rumbling but I didn't find it intrusive. They have a fun little bar that does great cocktails!

Staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them. Real quirky hotel, totally different from anything I have stayed in before, but in a good way. Free wine hour in the early evening! would totally recommend this hotel.

Far and away my favourite hotel in central Amsterdam, for either business our tourism. Great location within easy walking distance of the main tourist areas but in a quieter location. Beautiful interiors, welcoming and friendly staff. Drinks and snacks in the blue room are a nice perk before and after a long day of business or sightseeing. Lovely hotel in a superb position. We booked a deluxe room and were located on the 5th floor overlooking the river. We had a super size balcony. The room was just perfect and the bed and pillows made for a very relaxing and comfortable sleep. The Indes is an institution in the Hague, and whilst some hotels rely on the past, this hotel excels on so many levels. It's beautiful, but first and foremost the staff (ambassadors as they're known) are some of the best we've ever come across in the Netherlands, and that's going some as the Dutch are great at hospitality! It’s the perfect spot in Amsterdam

Clean comfy room, smart en-suite, very comfy bed and a great night sleep. Great bar and lovely bar food. Restaurant looked lovely and great options ( didn't get to try as we fell asleep after a day of travelling. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we only spent 1 night, but would definitely return.
