The room is very basic but the view is great. We could see the fireworks from our bedroom window. The staff were very nice. It’s conveniently located near the bus station. I would splurge to stay at a better hotel that has an onsen that is inviting and that has better accommodations. Japanesd style rooms and also common bath area at the basement. Staff were very helpful, one even parked my car, and have English explanation especially for the protocol to use the public bath. Right by the lakeside, and we have a room with great view of lake and mountain. Did not eat there as it was an over nighter for us. The facility is rather dated overall, but the room was clean and stocked with everything we needed for the stay. The parking lot was convenient and free. Another convenience was the hotel's location in front of the tour boat departure point. The only area of disappointment was that the building was very loud, and by 6am or so, we could hear all the activity around the building quite loudly, such as doors being opened and slammed shut. Perhaps this was because our room was in front of the pantry room (which I guessed was the kitchen?).
