Maison Durante is a quiet oasis in a area of Nice. We particularly liked the bright, sunny room overlooking the pretty courtyard garden and the freshly cooked breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely return

Hotel was in an excellent position, just a block back from Promenade des Anglais, near a couple of decent restaurants on the front and less than a mile from the old town. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with storing the luggage, advising honestly about places to go and how to get there. Breakfast (extra cost) was what we needed - cereals, cold meat and cheese, boiled eggs, some fruit and croissants etc. There's a supermarket over the road for anything else you need. We stayed for 3 nights at the Ibis. The breakfast is wonderful and the tea/coffee making facilities available free throughout the day in the main reception. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to a supermarket, the promenade and city centre. The buses are really cheap 1.50 euros to most cities including Cannes and Monaco. If you get the 52 bus just outside the airport that’s 1.50 euro also to the promenade where it’s a 5 minute walk to the hotel. I would definitely go...

Located a short walk from the beach and restaurants, on a busy main road so there is traffic noise but it is in heart of the City so not unexpected.
Room was spacious, clean with fresh towels and bedding each day. Aircon was efficient.
While there was a kettle with tea and coffee only one breakfast tea and fruit tea replenished each day, would have been nice to have a couple more. I am sure if we asked they would have been provided.
Staff very friendly, reception is small but how much time do...

This hotel is a real gem. It is under new management and has been completely refurbished before reopening at the end of June 2018. Bathrooms, beds, pillows etc are all of high quality. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the surrounding streets where you can enjoy being in the midst of the true Nice...

A 5 night stay. Room was not large but was well set out and comfortable with full amenities including fridge and kettle. Room and bathroom modern and in excellent condition. Reception/breakfast area bright and airy. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Ideal location 1 block from sea-front and a short walk along a street full of shops and restaurants to the town centre.
Rooms at the rear would suit light sleepers as the road can be noisy at times. Would happily stay again

The location is fantastic - right on the edge of the old town and walking distance of the train and tram stations. Fantastic for seeing everything you would want to see in Nice.
Interesting rooms in two levels - with the bathroom and small living room on the lower floor and bed on the upper floor via a staircase. It could do with a small sofa on the lower floor, as it seemed slightly wasted space, even through there was a TV there.
Door to a balcony - although be aware that the hotel front is...
