Nice and easy check in. Rooms are nice, comfy beds. Staff are very helpful and accommodating.

This was better and cheaper than a boring Premier Inn. I would recommend it for anyone that wants a change from the Purple Palace. Free parking near to the entrance. The food was nice at the restaurant, and the staff are lovely. The room was nice and big. Like most places, the drinks are quite expensive, £3 for a medium sized lemonade. £5.50 for a pint of lager.

Excellent hotel the staff are amazing

We arrived late and were greeted by very pleasant helpful hosts who made us feel welcome, great selection for breakfast and cooked food was excellent, I would certainly stay again if down in the area and would recommend Pickmere Country Guest House to friends.

Very clean and spacious room, comfortable bed and surprisingly very quiet. Easy parking (once you know where to go!). And a mini bar full of free fun snacks. Reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful. We will return.

Super convenient as part of the airport/train station complex, able to wheel the airport trolley (costs £1) from collecting our bags from our flight to actually inside the hotel room (as advised by reception staff as a possibility) & then the following morning to the side of the train.

Great little hotel, with friendly staff, good sized room. The room was well kept and clean. There's a nice park right next to the hotel.

This appears to be five star in every way, great bar and restaurant, excellent breakfast. Rooms are elegant and spacious. Staff could not do enough for us, they were all very well trained and offered excellent customer service. Fantastic modern beautiful hotel.

Straightforward check in, Very nice room with functional layout. I liked the room because it was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The TV is slightly ‘too’ smart and seems to feel the need to switch itself on in the middle of the night. This could do with sorting out.

I had a lovely stay at Aberley House, whilst taking in 2 days golf at Royal Birkdale for the British Open. The location was great and just a 10 minute walk to the train station and local amenities. Plenty of parking available and I found the property very clean and the host was very helpful. The games room was an extra bonus. Breakfast was very good and I would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed in this glorious hotel overnight as a family of three plus our dog. We had the most wonderfully warm welcome upon our arrival and this was further enhanced by the rustic charm that this lovely hotel exuded by way of its decor. We adore a vintage aesthetic so its appearance resonated with us immediately. I had just finished running a marathon. The staff upgraded us due to this! We had the most beautiful room!! We arrived to a lovely note congratulating me and some personalised chocolates! A great personal touch! The room and bathroom were clean, and the free amenities were great and of high quality. The bathrobes were a great addition and perfect for relaxing in! The property was well kept, spotlessly clean. In a fantastic location if you want to be where all the night life is going on. Obviously very noisy as your sounded by great pubs clubs and amazing atmosphere.This did not bother us and still managed to get off to sleep. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

Amazing value for money. Was able to check in early which was a huge bonus. Room very clean. Large room. Overlooking the Echo arena and wheel. Perfect location. Discounted parking. Great selection of breakfast, constantly being refilled.
