"Very comfortable and cute. The Rathbone is two lovely old houses across the street from each other. We stayed in a room on the back courtyard. The room was large, with a mini fridge and microwave and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. It’s an old building, and that shows a bit (hot water ran out one morning), but no deal breakers for us. They put out coffee and modest breakfast items (instant oatmeal, fruit) in the reception room every morning, although not always as early as advertised. Neighborhood around the buildings is urban, but seemed safe, and we walked out to informal dining. Would definitely stay there again."

"This is a fantastic place to stay and soak up the New Orleans vibes without being so close to never ending party that is the quarter. The property, building, and most importantly the room was very clean and appears to be well maintained. My wife and I enjoyed opening the windows and relaxing in our room each day after returning from our excursions into the city. The street car and bus lines are within an easy walking distance. The immediate food options are basically non-existent, the only truly close restaurant is breakfast and cash only. But there is some other easy walking to get to Broad St where there are more options such as the fantastic Ruby Slipper. Our stay was wonderful here, and when we return to the city we will book again here at Sonder Gravier. The bed was clean and comfortable, the living room was an inviting space to get off your feet after walking many miles in the nearby French Quarter, Treme, or the Garden District. The kitchen was usable and clean, with some dishes and silverware provided. The coffee wasn't amazing, but it served it's purpose and we partook in a lot of it while we were there. Our only complaint was that there aren't any fans in the room, the AC worked well enough but it would have been nice to have a fan available. Otherwise this place was better than we had hoped for in every metric. "
