This place is gorgeous - lovingly restored or well kept. Great yard for the dogs and just diagonal to a park. Very dog friendly area. Bus stop is directly outside the front gate and you can buy a very inexpensive pass to go anywhere without needing Uber. At night it can be challenging to get a parking spot so I recommend to try to get there as close to 4 (check in) as possible for ease of unpacking.
There is a coffee shop, MoJo's, a short block behind the house - you must try it. Three are a couple of bars down Camp Street, less than a quarter of a mile, with delicious food. You may hear a little noise on the weekends from the party buses, but overall quiet area.
The beds are not the most comfortable, but not bad - one is softer and one is harder so pick the one closest to your preference. There is no ice maker but there is a freezer to put a bag of ice in and there is a bonus washer and dryer that I didn't see in the listing.
I would definitely stay here again on a next trip to NOLA!
