"Hotel staff extremely nice and helpful. Only complaint really was I ordered a deluxe double room. This was pretty basic for deluxe! (although very clean) needed an upgrade on bed and general appearance rather tired looking."

"Room lovely and spacious. Staff were very knowledgeable about local area, and could not have been more friendly and helpful. Breakfast porridge or full cooked breakfast.and some other cereal options etc, tasty and good quality. There's no bar or restaurant, just breakfast, but locally there are other food options."

"Stayed for 3 nights had a comfortable clean stay the lodge has everything you need surroundings are so peaceful not far from town centre about 10 min drive for shops etc hot tub was fab Nigel sent all details needed for checking in which was easy he also popped in for a quick hello & to welcome us very friendly & made sure if needed anything or any problems to let him know I highly recommend & I will be back again for a nice relaxing break thanks."

"What a lovely stay we had! We received a very warm and friendly welcome. All of the staff were very attentive and helpful. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent, wonderfully presented and tasty, well portioned servings. The same could be said for our breakfasts. We had a lovely stay in our modern well appointed room. Wonderful Hotel in a wonderful village with wonderful people. Thank you, see you again!"
