"It’s a lovely hotel and have stayed several times. My only reason for 4 star rating was my room was directly above a very loud gathering with lots of noise. As it was happening as I arrived I assumed it was a corporate event likely to finish early evening. It was not and the noise continued until late. My only comment would be to the staff to put other residents away from the event location at least not directly above it"

"Stayed several times. Good location to motorway/travel into Liverpool. Staff always helpful and bed really comfortable so good night's sleep. Handy for Croft retail park and local pubs and places to eat. Train station about 10 min walk to access Liverpool or Chester so ticks a lot of boxes. Not saying it wouldn't benefit from a room refurb, because it definitely would bit doesn't stop us staying."

"This is a really lovely hotel. Much better than I expected. The family room was very large, spacious and clean. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way for us. They even had a bouncy castle which my five year old absolutely loved, and really needed after a long car journey. We ate dinner in the bar area (the restaurant was closed) but it was the same menu and it was delicious. It was a really nice, family friendly area. They even had games out for guests to play with. I would highly recommend this place."

"The property is superb and the place was spotless surrounded by beautiful countryside. The only issue was the breakfast, obviously there were no staff to serve at breakfast so it was a bit every man for himself, the food and drink is all laid out the night before so first up is best dressed. By the time we got down, 9.00 am there was no fruit or yoghurt left and a tiny bit of butter to go with the stale bread and pastries. I think a lot of people are basically pigs at a buffet and very rarely think of other people. Couldn’t fault the hotel but maybe a different way of serving up breakfast."
