Everything was spotlessly clean. The building was a bit run down,with threadbare stair carpets, wooden windows beginning to rot and leaky gutter outside my room. My full English breakfast was perfectly cooked and excellent value. I wasn't charged for extra eggs and tea and toast to finish with. The hotel is located inside a small village, the area around it is very nice, green and quiet. The staff was great and friendly, the food was okay, but the infrastructure of the hotel most definitely needs an update. Walls are cracking in the room, I found a whole on the ceiling in the bathroom from a water leak that, you can just tell this home was built in the late 1800s.
