"Cheap, convenient, basic"
This is a minimalist B&B, not like staying in a home. However, if what you want is privacy and cost savings, it works well. There are three rooms, with a shared bath, a kitchen, and a communal living space with TV. No pictures on the walls, no homey touches. Breakfast consists of a choice of cereals, porridge, and store-bought bagels, muffins and croissants, a Keurig coffee machine and juice boxes: do-it-yourself. It's not a gourmet breakfast but gets you going. There was only one person in the house while I was there and we barely saw each other. It is convenient to the airport and to major roads, such as Prince of Wales Dr. It took me 15 minutes to get downtown to visit family. The bedroom was small but the bed was very comfortable. Although I never saw the owners in 5 days, they were very quick to respond to any comments or inquiries I made by text message. So if you're comfortable with total independence, and cost savings are a priority, this is a great choice.
