"Our stay at Hotel Astoria was a pleasant experience. The rooms were quiet except when the staff was cleaning the rooms above ours's. The breakfast was good with a variety of fruits, cereals, breads, as well as the standard heated trays of eggs, bacon, etc. About the only complaint is with the bathroom. It is not senior friendly with an extremely slippery tub surface and nothing to support oneself. Maybe a child could use the tub but it was difficult for an adult sized person to get in or out. The lighting could also be improved."

"I chose the Barabas Hotel for several reasons….price, location, breakfast included and good reviews….and was not disappointed. It fit our needs (which are simple…a clean and quiet room, comfortable bed and nice bathroom) and even exceeded expectations with towel service and room freshening each day. The front desk staff were both welcoming and full of good information. We did arrive early so took advantage of the luggage storage offered. The breakfast provided was more than sufficient and I’d give anything to have one of their superb coffee machines! Would I go back? Yes! Can I recommend it to friends? Yes!"

"Don’t look anywhere else. We had trouble getting to the hotel - they sent two staff members out to take our car to the parking garage and our luggage. The balconies overlooking the river were phenomenal. The bathroom ceiling has a star ceiling that lights up as a night light. I couldn’t say enough amazing things about this hotel. We should have stayed there longer."
