"Lodge was spotless kitchen had everything you would need bedrooms and bathroom lovely good shower . Hot tub available . The only thing that spoiled the stay was we couldn’t watch tv signal poor unable to watch anything also the drop from the patio to step out was to high I couldn’t get out due to mobility issues needs another step adding . My dog hurt his paw when he jumped back into the lounge area . But overall it was a nice holiday let ."

"A great stay at Honeycrisp lodge, the lodge had everything we needed, and very well thought out. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped with an air fryer and gusto coffee machine! The uninterrupted panoramic views of the countryside from the lodge were amazing and I did not expect! The hot tub was so lovely to take in all these views. Location was great also. Thank you to Mark for being so helpful with our stay."

"The chalet was a lot smaller than expected. In the main bedroom it wasn't possible to walk around the bed properly as the room is so small. The wardrobe doors couldn't be opened properly as there was no space. All of the furniture in the chalet was older flatpack furniture that was coming apart at the joints. The TV unit looked like it was about to collapse. We booked for 3 nights (the minimum allowed), but left after 2 nights as we couldn't bear the thought of a 3rd night in this cramped...

"Found another person’s dirty pyjamas under the bed. Non fan oven takes upwards of 20 mins to reach temperature and needs longer than stated time to cool meals. Shower seal is rotten. No WiFi or TV aerial - DVDs only; not the end of the world but for a total washout rainy weekend with 2 young children this would have been helpful. Great location with a beautiful beach at the end of the road, and in a hot spot for beautiful beaches in general. I think we just got unlucky with the most outdated...
