"Very friendly welcome and a lovely room. The staff were so helpful and the cooked breakfasts were excellent. But the DJ night didn't finish at 11 as the in-room message said it would (midnight, then bar noise for another while) ; the fire alarm went off the next night (quickly cancelled so clearly accidentally) but then you could hear furniture being moved around in the bar/cafe in the small hours... I guess for cleaning. I'd recommend taking earplugs. "

The room we had was on the smaller side as was the bathroom, the bed was good, perhaps a little firm for my taste. "The room was a little dated, lovely corner bath but the jets weren’t working on it, no shower in the room which would have been handy. Lovely 4 poster bed, but the mattress was way too soft. "Hotel was gorgeous, clean, smelled amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful, we had trouble with our bathroom sink tap and it was fixed super quickly. Only complaint is that drinks were a little expensive, £5 for a coffee is a lot and the alcohol more so, but it's expected for such a lovely venue I suppose. Thanks for a great weekend!"
