"Love staying here when visiting the area. It's a great location and peaceful. The rooms are lovely and great views over the river. A stone's throw from the castle and short walk into town. We love walking along to The Navigation too for a little refreshment! "

"Lovely setting but no one there to give us the key even though we’d sent 2 emails requesting info regarding collection with time of arrival. Noise from 9pm TIL 4am so couldn’t sleep. Dog faeces on paths. Toilet broken. No microwave. Needs updating and cleaning of the shower room. Lounge and bedroom roomy and comfortable. "

"Really comfortable beds and clean room. good location overlooking the Trent and lovely riverside walks. Didnt have a room at the front so our view was of the air conditioning unit, so not to good. rooms at the front would have great views. Good indiand restaurant nearby. For what we paid I was well satisfied and would stay again"
"There was lots of parking available. Check in was easy and the receptionist was very helpful in pointing out where our room could be found and where the spa could be accessed near our room. Having three single beds in one room is a really good idea for three adults to share - I went with my two daughters and none of us wanted to share a double bed so three singles in a room was exactly what we needed. "Loved it, cant wait to return. Nice clean room. Good breakfast and drinks in the bar. Only thing which is being really picky, staircase leading to reception. Us and and another couple ended up in unauthorised area, maybe needs better signage. Probably our eyesight though. Will return"

"Had a fantastic overnight stay at the White Hart. The room was spacious and well maintained, bathroom was huge and the bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was amazing with a wide choice. It’s perfectly located if you want an evening around the Bailgate area. Can’t wait to return!"

"I experienced some minor glitches which was resolved and I would like to stay here again on my next visit. The room, especially bathroom was very clean, air conditioning was in good working order and the bed was very comfortable. I am unsure though why they have stopped supplying the little 2-pack biscuits to go with your tea or coffee and glad I didn’t have the kids with me cos they love it🤔. The reception staff were polite, professional, friendly and helpful.👍
