"Location is fantastic! You can’t get better. Corner of the street , opposite to the ferry terminal, next to shop and restaurant. 5 minutes from old/heritage theatre. Bed is comfortable, good pressure in the shower. Staff are really nice. It has caracter! As it is old it does have some squeaking floor board and the solarium is single glazed but it’s also part of the charm. Just don’t expect soundproof and immaculate doors and fabric as it is vantage. I definetly would stay back there if I return to Devonport."

"While our room was comfortable & great location - the staff need to work on their customer service. We weren't advised of our free room credit on check in & even when I confirmed it with staff, it wasn't applied at check out. until I reminded them again that we were over charged. Check out is 11am but house keeping knocked on our door at 9.30am asking to make up the room. Also at check out after settling our room service bill, the receptionist asked to see the credit card we used for the bond again, which was unnecessary and a bit rude. Staff aside, the room was great."

"The room was dusty with fluff on carpet. The shower and bathroom had mold Build up inside and out side shower box. The hair trap was broken and was not fitting the drain. The lights would not turn off outside and shined through the door into the room from the passageway"
