Soupçon d'escroquerie.....

Nous avons réservé une chambre à l'Hôtel IRIS à NAPLES par l'intermédiaire de HOTEL.COM pour la nuit du 16 au 17 octobre. Nous avons payé en ligne (prélèvement effectué sur notre compte) et bien reçu message de confirmation de la réservation. Arrivée sur place à minuit, le réceptionniste de l'Hôtel nous a appris qu'aucune réservation ne lui était parvenue compte tenu que l'Hôtel IRIS n'est pas affilié à HOTEL.COM. Nous avons du payer une deuxième fois la somme de 54,00 € pour accéder à la chambre. La personne n'a jamais voulu nous donner de facture. Que pensez vous faire pour nous dédommager avant que nous ne commentions notre mésaventure avec HOTEL.COM sur les réseaux sociaux ?. Dans cette affaire, qui devons nous soupçonner de tricherie ?????

Street location was very sketchy. Noisy! We saw rats on street on 2 occasions. Had to pay for elevator. We had luggage. Room /sheets were old & we were unsure of cleanliness.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht. Man bekommt immer Auskunft. Es wird auch oft nachgefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist. Das Frühstück ist leider sehr wenig aber der Cappuccino einfach nur super.

Terriblemente peligroso

Terrible! Por favor no ir... El “hostal” queda en la calle más peligrosa de la zona más peligrosa de todo lo más peligroso de Napoli. Llena de delincuentes, personas que te ofrecen drogas, inmigrantes violentos que te acosan e intimidan para robarte tus pertenencias. En la primerísima noche al llegar vi desde el balcón como robaron a una pareja de turistas, la segunda a otra persona el teléfono, y en la madrugada pelea entre ellos y llegó la policia. Por el hotel pues está descuidado, las habitaciones con olor a cigarrillo, sábanas manchadas, el aire suena horrible, el ascensor es pago para usarlo y el baño de asco. (ojo con lo cargos que quieren hacerte en recepción a última hora) Terrible experiencia tenía reserva para 3 días y al segundo me fui.

Hostel experiene with hotel prices!

Checked in after 3 pm and had to wait approx. 30 minutes for my reserved room to be cleaned. They also use actual keys to open and close the rooms. So a couple of times the key got stuck and I would have to request assistance. Overall all, it was a rocky start but things got better as time went on.

Convenient, But Basic Accomodation

Good location near the train station & the staff is friendly and helpful--good at giving advice about where to go in the area & how to get there. The room was adequate in comfort, but old & worn-down. In four days, we experienced a stopped up sink, power going out in the middle of the night, & toilet paper running out without being replaced. Staff fixed things pleasantly when we asked, but were not proactive. Overall a good value, but nothing will especially delight you.

direi molto peggio di quello che mi aspettavo. Poco professionali ho prenotato all'Iris e senza avvisarmi o chiedere mi ha spostato sul b&b Enea veramente scadente. Inoltre mi hanno creato problemi con il pagamento perché volevano vedere la Carta di credito con cui ho pagato sul hotel.com

급하게 구한 최악의 숙소

이탈리아 사람들이 대부분인 곳이었고 직원들이 대부분 친절하지 않았습니다. 머리긴 여자분과 한 남자분 빼고는 방에 전등에 전구가 2개가 없어서 어둡고 창문밖 풍경이 진짜 별로였습니다. 아침 식사도 호스텔 보다 별로였고. 가격은 비쌌고 위치는 역과 가까웠지만 정말 위험한 곳이어서 저녁늦게는 나갈 수가 없었었습니다. 위치만 좋았더라도 좋았을텐데요! 예약문제로 급하게 자게 되었지만 다시는 이곳에 가고싶지 않습니다.

La zona è molto deteriorata ed è da evitare la sera. La colazione, se così si può chiamare, è meglio non prenotarla per evitare brutte sorprese. Unica nota positiva è la vicinanza alla stazione. Complessivamente il rapporto qualità/prezzo è molto basso.

Convenient to Train and Metro Stations

Convenience to train and metro stations is the best quality of this hotel and the staff is friendly. However, the location of the hotel is on a street that has a daily flea market selling questionable products and therefore safety can be a concern, especially at night. Hotel limits the use of AC to hours they deem to be the hottest which did not match our needs. It automatically shuts down at midnight making for a stuffy, hot, and restless sleep during the hot and humid summer months.

Amazing service

Clean and extremely friendly hotel which provides excellent value for money. The hosts gave is a ride and even picked us up later in the evening after a few drinks at the beach side. Highly recommended, bust budget option in town surely.

Iris hotel

Very close to Napoli centrale Train station 2 Minute walk. Lovely service and standard breakfast included ie cereal croissants juice Don't be put off by street it is in safer than it looks and a couple of food options eg kebabs across road for around 3.50 euro 10 mins from water front where you catch ferry to Sorrento, Capri etc and approx a 13 euro cab ride. don't pay more than this some will charge 30 + euro. Great market daily in the same street as hotel bargain with the sellers. Most rooms have been smoked in though can open windows. Buses r2 and r3 from Napoli Centrale to close to water front

DO NOT stay here!

Very unsavoury past of town. Didn't feel safe in the area at night. Terrible wifi. Very uncomfortable bed. Website description is NOTHING like the actual room. Terrible shower. Breakfast was very ordinary and minimal. And after complaining about all the misrepresentations, nothing was done. They couln't care less! Well neither could we!! 0 out of 5!
