"Housekeeping very professional, staff always gave a friendly greeting as they went about their duties. We are not generally early big breakfast eaters, but the choices were amazing and irresistible."

"Very comfortable bed and pillows, spotlessly clean bathroom and a really good shower. Nice toileteries. Breakfast had plenty of choice ( apart from no fried eggs !) and was all cooked well and nicely presented. The staff were helpful and friendly. Will cerainly stay again next time we go to York."

The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. My room was spacious, well equipped and provided a great night’s sleep. The location was ideal, offering easy access to York while still being in a peaceful setting. The breakfast and overall facilities were excellent, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel really stood out. I could not fault any aspect of my stay and have happily rated everything 5/5. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting York and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future."

"Breakfast was very good and I liked making my own waffle. Room was good. Little lift outside hotel for disabled and elderly was very difficult to figure out how to use. Had to carry heavy luggage up the steps. Ramp might be better. Location was good. Would recommend staying there."
