The Reece Ridge Cabin is an open, spacious, beautiful secluded home. It is tastefully decorated in a lodge decor, with comfortable furnishings. The cabin is peaceful and serene surrounded by wooded forest full of wildlife. Step into the great room, featuring large wood burning fireplace and groove vaulted ceilings and walls. Windows provides natural light and awesome views of the surrounding area. The well equipped kitchen and dining room enjoys the same views. The large, open front porch has a swing and rocking chairs where you can listen to the trees quake in the wind and enjoy a morning cup of coffee. A laundry room completes the first floor.

The largest bedroom features a king size bed off the great room. Guests will love the warmth of the wood fireplace as they sit by the fire and enjoy a peaceful Southern Illinois evening in the great room. Enjoy the great outdoors at the cabin or watch a favorite movie. There is plenty of room for everyone to sleep in a bed with accommodations for 12 people with a 16 person maximum. Two full baths are located on the main floor with one being a shower/tub combo.

Located on a quiet country road, the cabin is convenient to local attractions. After a day of adventure, you can return to your cabin, cook something on the grill and enjoy crisp evening air as you dine on the back deck. Guests can top off the day with a relaxing soak in your own private hot tub or roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit.
Come and make your vacation memories at Reece Ridge Cabins. Our cabin makes for a perfect get away with family and friends. Take a wine trail tour, spend time at Kinkaid Lake and Cedar Lake, hike at Little Grand Canyon or just relax and enjoy the quiet environment any time of the year. An abundance of wildlife can be seen as the property offers a walking trail, water fall and a unique tunnel-like trail through a thick bamboo forest.

Family weekend

Beautiful, secluded location. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Lots of space for everyone. The cabin is lovely, the pictures really do not do it justice.

Beautiful & Quiet

The cabin was very clean and comfortable for our "girls weekend". It was stocked with literally everything we needed. The surroundings, inside and outside, were cozy and comfortable. It was close to the Shawnee wine trail and other attractions. We will definitely stay again!

Cabin getaway/ college visit

We loved our stay at your cabin! It was beautiful and so peaceful, just what we were looking for! We came to the area for our daughters college orientation at SIU and wanted a nice couple days away in nature, the hot tub was perfect, it was such a cozy nice cabin tucked away in the woods!

This place is just beautiful. It’s its back in the woods very clean, beautiful views if you’d like rustic living with the modern day stuff, this is a place for you. I highly recommend it would stay here again. The owners are great people. Hope to stay there again.

Great location

We loved our stay. Cabin is clean, spacious, and stocked with all necessities. Hot tub works great. Plenty of firewood for the big fire pit. Location is great, deep in the woods without any “neighbors”. Makes for great relaxing and quiet stay. It’s about 10-30 mins from every major location and points of interest. Will definitely be coming back for more stays!

The cabin was perfect for our bachelorette party. We had Wrightway travel pick us up and went along the wine trail. Secluded and lots of sleeping room. We were also surprised on how well stocked the cabin was from towels to kitchen supplies

Perfect getaway!

This house has everything you need! It’s nestled in the woods and couldn’t be more relaxing. There is plenty of space for everyone. The wood burning fireplace and hot tub are a huge perk! The owners have everything in the kitchen you could possibly need! We love coming to this cabin.

Birthday weekend with friends

Your cabin was perfect with the 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was the perfect size, had everything we needed, and very clean. We had 5 couples for my birthday weekend visiting breweries and wineries in the southern Illinois area, and then we would come back to the cabin and and hang out. Thank You!

Wonderful weekend stay

We had a great time, it is a very nice cabin for a weekend stay with our kids and grandkids. The only thing that we were concerned about was the open stairway to the basement and the loft. It would be nice to have a gate for any small children. We had a 16 month old thats always on the move. we improvised and made our own safety gate for the time we were there. Overall very nice place. I will stay here again. Thank you for offering this place for us to stay in.

Fun weekend experience

There were 7 of us staying here from Thursday to Sunday for my bachelorette weekend. There was enough space to comfortably hold us all. It was secluded enough so no one bothered us and close enough to town so that we could still enjoy ourselves. We had no trouble finding the cabin and it was such a beautiful area. We went to the little grand canyon which wasnt far. We went to 3 wineries close by and we went on a pintoon at Kinkaid Lake which was also not too car away. We would definitely love to come bac!

Great place for a group!

We stayed here for the annual River to River relay in April. The hot tub was a definite bonus after the race! We utilized all bedrooms and added an air mattress to the loft. There is plenty of space for a group. So many towels! Not all properties provide enough towels so this was also great for the necessary showers and hot tub use. I don’t know if the description says, but the coffee pot and keurig was a nice bonus! I wish I would’ve brought pods. Great place and I hope we can book it annually for our run!

Great cabin! Only 10 minutes from Murphsyboro, but so secluded in the woods. Used it for home base to go to Kinkaid Lake, worked great.At 6 total beds plus a loft with big cushions this place can sleep several.
