This suits for its remoteness and yet only 2 mins drive to town if you want a restaurant My wife and I stayed here Aug 17 and what was a delight. Quite yet stunning views. Breakfast and dinner at their own restaurant is mouthwatering and if like me your a biker, ideally positioned for great roads and Mugello or Imola circuits. We had a great stay here, a very luxurious modern apartment for the price we paid and just a stones through from the river with beautiful views and a reasonable walk into centre of Florence, which took about 15-20 mins. Over our short 3-night stay we had housekeeping services and a personal touch of a note to acknowledge a celebration during our trip. Absolutely loved it

We had a fabulous stay here. Impruneta is a lovely quiet hilltop town where we were able to easily explore the delights of Tuscany (Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano and Siena). We stayed in the family cottage with a private pool which was just perfect and all the staff were first class. Lovely breakfast too!!

Gorgeous owner, so organised and friendly at the same time. Loved the room, spotless and not your typical hotel room. Breakfast great and we enjoyed the courtyard setting in the shade. Highly recommend and may return with husband in the future.

Palazzo Castri 1874 is an excellent boutique hotel located a short walk from the main Santa Maria Novella (SMN) railway station. My husband and I had a fantastic stay at the Grand Hotel Minerva. The location is minutes from the train station on a lovely pedestrianised piazza, and walking distance to the main attractions. The staff were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay - we hadn’t booked tickets to the sights but they managed to get us tickets for the Accademia to see the statue of David. Just returned from 5 nights at the outstanding Grand Hotel Villa Cora - surely the jewel of Florentine hotels.
