Find Dog-Friendly Hotels in Much Wenlock

"The room was nice enough despite having a toilet seat that wasn’t attached however the entire experience was ruined by something small and trivial. The room was booked for me as I look to get our sales team a new hotel as a regular base and we are only looking at hotels with gym/pool. After a five hour drive arriving at 8pm I just fancied a quick thirty mins sauna and was told that despite it only being open till 9 I’d have to pay a £5 charge. No where on the website did it say this and my email confirmation had nothing about it. They even have a flyer for the spa on reception saying hotel guests should go enjoy it and zero mention of cost. I’d expect to pay for treatments of course but not a swim and a sauna in a hotel that advertises having one. Reception staff were great to be fair and room was clean and decent size "

"Think Faulty Towers and you won’t be disappointed. The reception staff run the bar and everything- absolutely lovely. However, keys given to other guests ( walking in whilst a guest was in bed- totally unacceptable) No working radiators, yet showers scolding hot, freezing cold rooms - used towels for extra warmth, rooms offered to our elderly party down the metal fire escape stairwell - we refused, no working lift. For the price we paid - it’s reflected in facilities. Spotless rooms and lovely staff that tried hard. "

"Good value for a hotel within easy walking distance of the city centre. Quite a spacious room, but no drawers or cupboards. Some rooms face the ring road but ear plugs get rid of the traffic noise."

"The most dirtiest hotel I've ever seen! The carpets were covered by dirts and stains, moulds were everywhere on the corners of windows and room, toilet was not clean. I booked a room with a queen size bed and sofa bed. The hotel sent me a message askinge if I need the sofa bed with a note that if I dont respond within few hours, they will assume I dont need it. I dont understand why did ask such a question in thw first place as it was included as part of room booking and how 2 adults+2 kids could fit in a queen size bed alone!! The question was utterly annoying considering that we had already been travelling and had no time to check my messages. Upon arrival, the staffs were not welcoming at all. We stayed in many Novotel hotels in the UK and abroad in the past, but the recent one was very unpleasant. The hotel obviously is in desperate need of renovation and more importantly recruiting a new management team."
