Place was full of character with complimentary food, John kindly let us leave our luggage there while we went hiking after checkout and before our train back to Sydney. Room was spotless with fresh flowers when we arrived.

We had a great stay, the staff were super helpful, the food was superb in the restaurant, the amenities were great. The room was good, I would like to see a few more pictures and maybe more soft furnishings, but overall great value

Blackheath is the best place to stay when visiting the Blue Mountains. It's less of a resort than Katoomba, and closer to more of the best trails. The motor lodge is my favourite place to stay. Comfortable, super friendly, and reasonably priced.

Incredible experience thanks to fantastic hosts and a wonderful property. The Chalet was exactly what we were hoping for from a stay in Blue Mountains which was a little off the beaten path but still with good train access to Katoomba etc. The owners are incredibly accommodating and welcoming, making for a very personal experience. Other than the hospitality, a highlight has to be the visiting parrots and other wildlife in the area. Breakfast is light and perfect for what you need to start...

From the minute we asked about check in we were made to feel extremely welcome . Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff

Amazing property, very welcoming and friendly staff. We got the lovely cabin which has its own spa and it was very comfy, with a fire in the chimney as we got it. Very calm and peaceful. The location in the countryside is far but worth the trip. There is tennis and pool table on site. We even got to feed the alpacas!

We throughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Silvermere. Lew is a charming, helpful host and the house is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious!

The guesthouse was in a residential and quiet area but walkable to the town and nearby national park walks. Although I drove there I didnt use the car once I arrived. My room was very comfortable and I enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. I would love to return and be able to stay longer.

Motels in places like Lithgow have to cater for the overnight stayers/travelers who want a good bed and shower plus an early breakfast to their room. They also like to park in front of their rooms. The motels management also have to please those who are staying longer as tourists to the region (Hint: Lithgow is a great staging place for the Upper Blue Mountains and futher west). This motel covers both needs really well, with all the stuff for a good sleep etc plus a clean pool and laundry...

We spent one night here on our way to the Wolgan Valley. It is in a great location right on the Escarpment and a five minute walk to Echo Point. The rooms are a little dated but comfortable. There is no evening turn down service nor any complimentary bottled water in the room, rather surprising for a 4/5 star rated hotel. We had a wonderful Asian meal in Miss Lilian’s Tea Room restaurant. The service and staff there were fabulous. Breakfast was good with all the usual fruits, cereals, juices...
