Hotel was OK. Small room, like many in Paris, was a bit cramped but clean with a comfortable bed. Conveniently located to many bars, restaurants, metro and close to train station. Just off of Montparnasse Blvd which is a great street to walk down with lots of eating places. Staff was very helpful and pleasant during our stay.

A perfect Parisian-style address in the heart of the theaters discrit of Montparnasse. Few steps away from the metro/ TGV …More
The hotel is close to 2 metro (Subway) stations, very easy to get to from CDG airport by train, check-in was fast and friendly. The staff are always happy to answer questions. The room was the prefect size for us, it was small but big enough. The bed was really nice and we slept very well. The bathroom had a bath and a shower and that was nice, after a long day walking around the city. The room safe was included and as we were Expedia Silver + we had our mini bar soft drinks included. The room was very quiet and that is always a big plus for me.
A few doors down from the hotel was a massive supermarket so we could get a few things and a bakery for breakfast. The hotel offered Breakfast at an extra charge but we didn’t use it.
The hotel is surrounded by loads of places to eat for lunch and dinner, some of them are pricey but if you look around you will find some more lower priced ones if you wanted. The food around there was great. We would be happy to stay here again when we come back to Paris.
Good value for money. Relatively small rooms but comfortable. Slightly away from the centre of Paris but easy access. The reception is supposed to be open 24 hours but they lock the doors after a certain time and we were waiting for a while as the receptionist went into a back room and could not hear the doorbell ringing, which was not very convenient.
This was our first stop on a trip to France and we spent three nights at Le Chaplain. The Metro and the RER from the airport easily reach the hotel. With an overnight flight just behind us, we arrived in the morning and found our hotel on a quiet little side street. Thanks Google Maps! Our room (a “Club” room with a queen bed) was ready and we could go right up. The young woman handling reception was very friendly and happy to converse in her excellent English. She booked a restaurant of our choice for that evening. We purposely booked a room with the size bed that we are accustomed to and both bed and room were perfect for us. We had enough room so we could each have our bags available; the shower, the free Wi-Fi and room temperature control worked very well; and there was even a help yourself mini fridge with bottles of water and sodas. This hotel serves breakfast, but we didn’t choose the 14 Euro breakfast, but as usual in France found a very good bakery with seating just a couple of blocks away and had our typical croissant and coffee le petit dejeuner. We like this particular part of Paris for all kinds of places to eat, convenient transportation and we would be happy to come back Le Chaplain on a future visit.
The hotel was very clean and there just couldn't have been a better staff. From the moment we walked in the door with all our suitcases we were greeted with smiles and assistance. My husband left earlier on the last morning than my children and I and when I went to the lobby with him to see him off the man at the front office desk who had been so helpful during our stay fixed me a cup of coffee even though it was much too early for breakfast. There are certainly fancier hotels - but this one was absolutely perfect - the staff made a pleasant, clean hotel into a first class one.
