"We spent a very enjoyable week in picturesque Chiusdino. Loved the little town with shops and restaurants (our tip: il minestraio!) within walking distance and great views of the countryside. "You have all the amenities of a large, historic villa - and also the real farmland all around you. Sheep, horses, dogs - beautiful, and not in your personal space (unless you want them to be!). Pasqualina and her son Francesco are perfect hosts. Incredibly responsive, even with a language barrier. If I return to Tuscany I would want to stay here again. Thank you so much."

"We could not have had a better stay (or a better host) for this trip with my elderly parents. The house is wonderful and easily sleeps 6-8 with privacy and comfort. We cooked and ate most meals at home and the kitchen is exceptionally well set up. Leo (the host) is one of the nicest people we have met: generous, informative and genuinely interested in solving any issues that arose. We had a pump failure in the heating one morning and he got it fixed within a few hours. Cannot recommend more...

"This villa was everything and more than we could have hoped for! A fantastic first impression as you drive through the gates and up to the villa entrance. The beautiful garden full of flowers and herbs and the splendid pool with views of the hills beyond. The villa was so well equipped. Everything was there. We felt so at home. Very comfortable and grand interior and lovely bedrooms. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. we were so sorry to have to leave. Would love to return one day."
