"The Milner is now our go to hotel on our regular visits to York. Although an old building it has a modern, clean and cared for hotel. From reception staff to the cleaners everything was perfect. "

"Check in was late at night but staff were excellent and accommodating. Even changed floors so we could all be near each other. Clean, quiet spacious rooms. Breakfast great variety-only thing I’d say is if the vegetarian sausages could be more readily available. Housekeeping service excellent. If they could give enough water for the number of guests that would improve things-we were consistently given 2 water cans for 3 guests.. Location fantastic-all main sites and station within walking distance. Would stay again."
