"#not sponsored James Boutique Hotel has been the best hospitality experience in Europe so far. We arrived late in the night at Colmar so could not find a taxi. We had informed the hotel about this and asked them to arrange for a taxi. To our surprise, the hotel owner came himself to pick us up in his car. We cannot thank him enough for this gesture. The service, the cleanliness, the hospitality was perfect. We would highly recommend James Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Colmar. The location...

"Friendly, great parking on site. Can fill up and an alternative was mentioned. Breakfast was the best on our 23 day France trip. No complains on room and bathroom. You may get side where train can be heard passing. For the most part it was not an issue as they run pretty quiet. "

"Stayed here after checking out of a horrendous hotel. It was comfy and cozy, but quite far from a lot of things. There is nothing around the area, so just be prepared. Room was nice though, and fairly clean. Will stay here again. "

"Lovely hotel- in a great spot. Excellent breakfast- lots of variety for all tastes. Only thing that let the room down was the creeky floor of the whole room that gave the impression to the occupants below and led to a complaint from reception that we were stomping about when in fact we had no shoes on at all! This then made us anxious when we moved around the room which was unfortunate and slightly soured our overall experience."

"Hotel is currently being renovated outside but do not be put off. nice restaurant and hotel is just opposite the station. evening meal and breakfast was excellent. Room was a good size. 15-20 minutes walk into the old town."
