Amazing location, great staff
It was great experience sleep in a pub. The owner was very friendly and nice. He offered me better room and that was nice. Fish pie and full English Breakfast was amazing. Just perfect. Also good selections of Real Ales and Real Ciders in the bar.

Quick pit stop, great accommodation
Great family accommodation for 5 of us. Enough beds that we weren't cramped. It's not often we find accommodation where we don't have to but 2 separate rooms so this was a real find. We look forward to coming back and spending longer than just a room to sleep for a few hours!

Made to feel very welcome
We enjoyed our stay, the owners were very obliging, especially on arrival, when we had to get up a strange stair arrangement with our luggage and then found that the private bathroom, booked with the room was too far away for medical reasons. We were very kindly given another room, that suited better. Being an old building the owners, not having been there very long, seem to be trying very hard to make it as comfortable as possible. Felt it was work in progress and we wish them luck with their project and business. The location is excellent and views from the garden are amazing. Enjoyed a very nice evening meal there too. Wi-Fi upstairs gave problems but ok on another password downstairs.
