The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel relaxed from the start. The food was perfect. We would recommend this very nice guest house.

Fantastic overnight stay. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival by the owner who then took us to a great vantage point to take in the stunning views whilst giving us a brief bit of background history surrounding the building. We took our dog who was welcomed greatly. The staff on site were pleasant and polite and on hand to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to return later on in the year.

Beautiful house set in the stunning Exmoor National park is worth the 5 stars alone. However , it is the attentiveness of the owners and attention to detail that really makes Edgcott House very, very special. Room was beautifully appointed with quality fixtures, made all the more special with aromatherapy products in the bathroom and freshly baked cake left in the room each day. The hotel is situated in a beautiful, secluded and extremely picturesque location. Everything is about quality over quantity from the number of rooms to the very well prepared meals, which clearly use the best ingredients. Limited facilities, but this is part of the charm. The owners and waitress were always on hand to ensure satisfaction and are very friendly. Not suitable for younger children, which will suit many older people looking for a few days of tranquility away from busy lives.

My partner and I had a delightful stay here. We were well catered for by our hosts and found the room very pleasant, in good order and quiet. Personally we would choose a firmer bed, but appreciate that’s not to everyones taste or preference.

Excellent attention to detail. The Landlord and his team were extremely friendly, helpful and nothing was too much bother. Free parking was an added bonus.

This is a hotel that we have stayed at during different times of the year. This weekend was very cold but it was lovely and warm in the room.The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The evening meal in the restaurant was outstanding with service to match. Breakfast was equally excellent.

This was our second stay at the property. We received a warm welcome as usual and checked into our spacious family room. The hotel is clean but a little tired in places. We're happy to see that they are undertaking a refurbishment and look forward to seeing the results next year. The location is outstanding; a short walk from the beach and high street. This was a lovely haven, away from the bustle of every day life, well equipped and homely - and only a really nice half hour walk into Minehead through lovely woods and parks.

Lovely cottage with great size rooms. Parking was not so easy on a bank holiday weekend. Well appointed kitchen. Great shower.
