"This was a lovely, comfortable basement suite. The bedroom has no windows, which at first worried me, but I learned that the lack of outdoor light led to wonderful sleep! The bed was so comfortable. The TV area had 4 cozy recliners, and the kitchen was super clean and spacious. The location is a quick drive to Milton, and maybe 20 minutes or so from Lewes beach. All in all a terrific stay!"

"Excellent place to stay for a DE vacation! The home is very clean and well decorated. Master suite with large shower is a plus. Open floor plan makes it a great space for family when spending time in the house. The house is close enough to spend the day at Lewes/CapeHenlopen/Rehobeth beaches, but a little removed from all the traffic of the tourist area, making it a great place to unwind and relax in the evenings. The outdoor hammock, gazebo, and fire pit were a huge plus, and the kids loved making s’mores in the evenings (the house has firewood, kindling, roasting sticks). The host was very responsive - clearly communicated check in instructions. Check-in and check-out process was easy to follow. Host was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. On arrival there was a nice thank you card and jar of honey from local bees, such a thoughtful thing to do!The owners clearly take pride in this property and have created a great rental for people to stay. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy some time away in a relaxing setting close to the DE beaches!"
Cozy home minutes from Lewes and Rehoboth Beach

"Had a wonderful stay in Milton which is a short drive from Lewes, Rehoboth beach and Cape Henlopen park. The first words our child said when entering the house were "do not judge the book by its cover". It's much more spacious inside than it looks when you first pull up to the house - very clean, conveniently laid out, nicely decorated and with room to spread out and feel like you are in the privacy of your home rather than cramped in a small hotel room and surrounded by all sorts of noises. Will stay again when travelling to the area."

"The Plum Pad was awesome! We loved the screened in porch. We had coffee out there every morning and could watch the sunrise over the bay. Communication with the host was easy and got replies back quickly. Everything from the Plum Pad is just a short drive away, except for the beach which is right down the back path. We couldn't recommend a more relaxing and groovy place to stay!"
Beautiful Family home with access to Red Mill Pond

"We really enjoyed our stay! We spent a lot of time in the pool - it was the perfect size for our group to play around in. They had lots of pool floats, which we took full advantage of. The house was clean and very spacious. We were able to spread out when we wanted to, but there was also plenty of room on the big couch for everyone to watch tv together. Having 3 full bathrooms was clutch with 4 teen girls in the house. Kirsten and Dominic were excellent hosts, very responsive via text, and Kirsten even came over to check the pool levels after it rained. The location was perfect, far enough away from the craziness that it felt calm and quiet but close enough to drive to several beaches. We visited Lewes and Rehoboth this time. We preferred Lewes because it was less crowded and easier to get to. Unfortunately the jellyfish were abundant, which limited our time in the water. With the really warm temps, it brings them in closer to the shore. That’s why having a pool at the house was so fortunate because we were still able to swim. Highly recommend getting out to Funland at the Rehoboth boardwalk to see the Haunted Mansion before it closes for renovations in 2027. We didn’t make it out to Red Mill Pond for kayaking. Guess we’ll have to come back! Thanks for all the great memories we had here!"

"This was our 2nd time staying here and it is always wonderful. Richard is lovely. The gardens are beautiful. The bed is so comfy. It is the perfect place to recharge. And so close to the beaches."

"Beautiful, CLEAN home! The space was truly wonderful. The large living room was a great place for our family to hang out, and the large fenced in yard was perfect for our dog! We also enjoyed (and appreciated) the shed full of yard games and taking the kayaks to the local pond (although pond doesn’t quite suffice as it is more like a huge lake)! My older teens loved the large double bunks! We loved the location of this home—close enough to everything with an easy drive, while far enough away to have a relaxing and peaceful family vacation. The host was very responsive and went above and beyond to be helpful throughout our trip. Do not hesitate if you are considering renting this home."

"This was our first visit to Broadkill Beach, and we were very happy! The house was updated, the walk to the beach was super easy (even for the 2 year olds), and it was great to be able to bring our dogs! The beach was beautiful and we felt like we had it to ourselves. We did have one day went the wind blew from the land and the flies were a nuisance, so pack your bug spray. The beach chairs, beach cart, and bikes supplied in the garage were awesome! The cousins had lots of fun on the boardwalk at Funland too. This was a great alternative to trekking all the way down to OBX too. Great vacation!"
