Staff were excellent. The food was excellent. Everywhere was spotless. The 4 bedrooms are up 3 flights of stairs but the staff we extremely helpful. An enjoyable experience. The pub is quirky.

Everything was great and even better than i expected

The lady who gave me breakfast- the owner was really helpful and friendly and gave me a perfect breakfast. I have no complaints and the price was fair.

I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. Real luxury, and a quiet, dark night's sleep.

A really enjoyable stay. Jim and Monique we’re really helpful and attentive. The room was spacious and clean and comfortable.

Hard to access carpark on site. Very cramped entrance on a major slope and limited parking space. We were met on arrival after ringing doorbell by woman who wasn't very friendly. She asked us how we managed to get into reception as we apparently shouldn't have been able as door should have been locked or closed. Great stay would stay again if i was in Windermere

Amazing experience. Fantastic staff and customer service, very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Cream tea was freshly prepared and scones still warm. Room was amazing with a beautiful lake view. Homemade shortbread in the room was a lovely touch. Breakfast was also amazing, lovely fry-up with good quality ingredients. Brilliant experience all round, we will definitely be staying again.

We stayed in this lovely guest house for two nights as we were attending a family funeral. We arrived at about 3pm on the first day and were greeted by a lovely lady who explained where everything was and showed us to our room. We had a king room which was absolutely huge, with a massive, very comfortable bed, a large and comfy sofa, a large bathroom with an excellent shower and a really big TV on a rotating wall bracket (to make it watchable from anywhere in the room).
