"We were expecting an en-suite bathroom, but that was okay as we were told the bathroom on the first floor was for our sole use. This wasn’t and to be honest was in a bad state of dis repair and cleanliness. We didn’t feel it was clean enough to shower and the bathroom mat can only be described as filthy.
We were awoken at 6 am to the sound of excess banging from the upstairs bedrooms, sounded like they were moving furniture around and continued for 3 hours. The whole place needs a total...

It was clean and modern plenty
of seating to relax in. The bar was available for coffee, drinks and snacks. Near the train station and the rooms were clean. The staff were really helpful and the breakfast which was continental catered for all tastes vegan if required. All in all a most pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely go again.

Room basic but clean. Facilities are slightly tired but adequate. The only slight complaint was that the shower was not much more than a dribble but the water was warm. Staff helpful and friendly. Note: Hebden Bridge is hilly and the hostel is up the hill from the town centre. It is not that far and should not put you off using the hostel
