"Check-in was quick. Need to use your room card to go in the lift on the ground floor. Room was clean, bathroom small but ok. Tea and coffee in room-no biscuits as I usually get in other hotels. Didn't have breakfast this time but it has been fine on previous visits"

"Air con didnt work. Had to change room, as original room was about 30C. Got a window room (upgrade after spending £120 on a standard, lucky me). This introduced the new problem of screaming women outside for hours. I had to turn the fan on all nught to try and block it out. Brutal."

"Did not order the breakfast however did have staff aggressively muttering at me during checkout which made me and my partner very uncomfortable. The muttering came was then followed with a passive aggressive statement over something which could’ve been a simple fix"

"Hotel is in the heart of Manchester city centre, a stones throw away from Manchester Piccadilly train station (with a direct link to Manchester Airport). Room itself is fine, but as usual with Malmaison hotels, it is rather dark."

"The entire hotel is in need for an upgrade/overhaul. Very tired. Bar area okay and staff very friendly. Overnight car park £30! Extortion like pretty much ALL airport car parking. I wouldn’t stop here again. "

"Stunning hotel and spa but I feel the rooms do let it down and don’t match at all. Breakfast was incredible but expensive. Sadly only got offered 50% off an upgrade when the hotel was empty. Glass table in room was very scratched and decor just boring if I’m honest. Bathroom - shower door didn’t go to the floor so made bathroom floor very wet and dangerous. Shower was okay and toiletries felt watered down. Staff were as helpful as they could have been. Allowed to drop bags off outside hotel but nearest NCP is £33 for 24 hours. Was very lucky to find a space on the road next to hotel but only 5 spaces. Card for the room stopped working twice also."
