"Nice hotel For the cost."
Tried to rent a car from airport. Out $75 rental now became $480. Alamo would not accept our worldwide coverage with our visa. We declined. Hotel is in zone 3, so we hired a CDMX taxi and it was only 200 pesos ($10) to hotel. So we used the metro. All was fine til we were in area of the Bellas Artes where our son had his wallet stolen from his front picket on the metro. Keep your hand on your wallet, guys! Metro is 5 pesos (25 cents) for as far as you want to go, even with transfers, as long as you don't leave the station. Our last day we got up to leave after eating breakfast in the hotel restaurant and my purse was missing. We had been sitting close to the counter with a woman worker watching the restaurant. It was a secluded area and the restaurant was not busy. I asked for the manager and the police. We were shown the video from the security camera and I could see 2 women enter, pause, and head straight for our table. My son was on my left and my husband sitting across from me. They stopped behind me and with the woman watching proceeded to steal my purse. There was no way they saw my purse from the entryway. I strongly feel that a staff member (probably the young male waiter at the counter also) called someone and informed them of my purse hanging on my chair and where we were sitting. If the woman had been hostessing this wouldn't have happened! She would be seating people as they came in.

"Pleasant hotel in a nice location"
Got to the hotel late in the evening. Unfortunately the hotel was full and our room was occupied and we got a smaller room. After posting this on the Expedia Check In prompt. Got a call from the manager Rosario. Who upgraded us to a better room for the rest of our stay. Rosario is a very competent and efficient manager. She went out of her way to correct and compensate for the mix up. The hotel is situated on a relatively quiet street and it pretty centrally located. Lots of restaurants and shops are located within walking distance of the hotel. Taxis are easy to get.

"Excellent Hotel, great location. "
My son and I Stayed at the Marquis de La Reforma for three nights in January 2017 and we were very impressed with the overall quality of this first class hotel. The hotel is located near Chapultepec Park and is right on Reforma Avenue, one of the main boulevards of Mexico City. The surrounding neighborhood is very upscale and safe. The staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful in all matters. The restaurants were excellent and reasonably priced. The gym and spa were great and a welcome respite after long days of sightseeing. I plan on staying here again when I return to Mexico City.

"short vacation in Mexico City"
The hotel was very comfortable! Super clean, Super helpful and friendly staff! Good restaurant, fare prices. The hotel is closer to the airport and not too close to the center or the pyramids. It is a best for business travelers, but the rooms are comfortable, we had a private tour guide who picked us up at the hotel each day throughout. She was the best! If you need personal travel attention you can call her! She works with this hotel, her name is Gabriela. If you stay at the Novit you will not be disappointed and if you hire Gabriela, your vacation will be outstanding!
