"Great location for our East Anglia base. Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. We stayed in the new wing which is spotless albeit spartan. Would be nice to have a micro and fridge. I didn’t play golf but think the management could put some investment towards course improvements. Someone told me there’s a focus on wedding bookings. I would say that marketing as a golf resort would compliment the wedding business nicely. In order to do this you have to have a really nice course and avoid negative reviews for golf."

"The Dabbling Duck set in a beautiful little village fulfilled our expectations of a relaxing night away. The menu choice in the restaurant was excellent and the staff delightful. Our dog Polly was made to feel very welcome with a dog bed, water bowl and a few treats. "

"Nothing wrong with the stay . Good room for an old building. Only concern was the position of the toilet. It was crammed into and a tight fit even for me who is large but not exsive."

"The room was clean and everything worked. Hotel located near cathedral and shops. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was very nice with quality ingredients and good choice. Small parking area which was full but there is a car park nearby which is free for 2 hours. Would stay again"
