"Very quiet and low lit area - perfect for stargazing. No WiFi so the kids stayed off their devices and enjoyed watching the chickens roam around freely. My little boy even got to help feed some which he thought was brilliant. Mary and her husband are top class hosts! Would definitely recomendthis place to anyone who wants a quiet rural getaway. "

"We booked for a special occasion and the cottage was perfectly located to walk to our venue - Ely Cathedral. The cottage was lovely and clean with everything we needed. My only regret is that the weather prevented us from seeing the cottage in the warm sunshine. "As far as the stay I honestly couldn’t fault it my bed was super comfy I stayed in the queen suite with shared bathroom it was spotless and warm too Helen had the radiators on and an electric blanket in the bed which was much welcomed as I stayed mid- January. If you do stay in this room just switch the blanket on and wait an hour you might not be able to feel it to the touch but once you get into bed you’ll feel it. There was plenty of tea & coffee plus nice little touches like water chocolate...

"Absolutely spot on what it says. The house has everything you need. The host said all we needed to take was, food, drink & charcoal for the BBQ. This is so true. The bedrooms, bathrooms, the kitchen & living area were spacious. With the living area going straight onto the patio area to the pool with several areas to sit & relax. This property is superb."
