"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

"We visited for a mini break in the first few days of 2026, looking for a peaceful location to consume the final cheese and port from Christmas and set up our intentions and plans for the year. The lodge is beautifully set on the site, and feels very luxurious. Underfloor heating and the hottub were invaluable as the snow arrived! A lovely location to explore Elan Valley and the dams, and the recommendation of The Crown Inn was spot on for lunch."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and cosy. Checking in and out was easy and all the information we needed was provided beforehand. There is a handy guide to use upon arrival about the accomdation and area. It was lovely to be able to have our dogs there and it had plenty of space for them to run around."

"Can’t fault the staff. They were lovely and went out of their way however: No hot water in the morning Blocked drains TV didn’t work No sanitary bin Stains on the ceiling Uncomfortable bed Thin walls Incredibly noisy but ineffective flush This could just be bad luck and I give the benefit of the doubt here. As I say, staff were super helpful and I’m sure with some investment and effort it could be great."
