Nice room under the roof. View of lake. But loved the bar/dining area with big windows looking over the lake and mountains.

Great vibe, and great value! It is in front of the lake. I had an adventure before I arrive there as was late storms and no transport. But managed it. It is clean. Plenty of toilets and showers. The guy at the reception was really good even offered to pick me up when he had to finish his shift. Also he offered me a slice of his pizza as I could not find anywhere with my adventures. Defently recommend it.

Brilliant staff, location, air con, and restaurant with unbeatable views make this an incredible hotel. Don't be fooled by the 3 star rating.

The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues.The Jersey Mob

Great communications ahead of our stay, and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. I really cannot compliment them highly enough. We were even shown into the breakfast room early on our last day and were able to take a packed breakfast for our journey. The breakfast was varied, and the restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location of this hotel is incredible. The views we had from our room were stunning and the staff were exceptionally helpful before and throughout the stay. I struggled a bit with getting to the hotel considering I landed so late at night and public transport was a bit sparse. But with better planning from me this would've been easy. I had an amazing experience at Al Molo 5. The breakfast with a beautiful lake view was truly unforgettable, and the hotel itself is super clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. I recommend coming by car, as there isn’t much within walking distance, but the on-site restaurant is excellent — great food, very romantic atmosphere, and the whole area is quiet and peaceful. Overall, a wonderful place to relax. Highly recommended!

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with amazing views over Lake Como. We were allowed to drop our bags off as we arrived before check in. When we came back to check in our luggage had already been taken to our room. Rooms are spacious and modern and very clean and the view is amazing. We had dinner first night and the food was great - especially the risotto! We woke up the next day after a really bad storm and unfortunately the damage to the road outside was extensive. The hotel was exactly what you would expect, a lovely little hideaway in the mountains with lovely rooms and staff who were very friendly and extremely helpful. Could'nt have stayed at a nicer place

Lovely place for an overnight stop on the at through Italy . Only caution, bathrooms are not en suite - they are private, for your room only but across the corridor.

Good base to explore but set back a couple of streets from the lake from whence it takes its name. No lake views as a result. Breakfast was limited for us, but we are vegan. Staff able to provide soya milk. Overall. we had a fantastic time.

The connection of Casa sull'albero to its magnificent position overlooking Lake Como is very sensitively achieved. Excellent location and a nice hotel. Our room was lovely with a small balcony and a beautiful view of the lake. Most staff was helpful and friendly except on Thursday morning breakfast staff was not welcoming at all. They sat around smoking and breakfast was not ready on time (8am start a little late anyways).
