"Gorgeous old hotel, magnificent room, really a suite, beautifully outfitted and furnished. However there was lots of noise intrusion from the trams outside, and the suite was not street adjacent. Minor downside and not the fault of the hotel. Breakfast was tasty either in room or in the restaurant. My only complaint is that the room was only serviced once in my 4 day stay despite having the service request sign on the door for 2 of those days."

"The bedroom was average but super quiet which I really appreciated. The location is excellent and the reason I chose to stay a week at this hotel. It is accessible to Southbank, the CBD and all forms of transportation. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had. Overall I would recommend this hotel."
