Beautiful old Elizabethan mansion that presents immaculately and gives you a real sense of history. Fantastic service - nothing is too much for all the staff. I will be returning.

We've stayed at The Cornish Arms on many occasions and it never fails to disappoint. Fantastic welcoming staff, wonderful food (dinner and breakfast) and a well-appointed and luxurious room.

Very comfortable bed, nice big window, decent sized room with good facilities. The owner was very happy to help with fresh milk delivered and good suggestions for local food places.

This property is in an idyllic location and you can walk on Dartmoor straight from the garden. The staff were the best bit, all really friendly and efficient. Extra Dog treats, bowl and ball were added extra touches that made the stay even more special.

The breakfast was good and parking was convenient. A very enjoyable stay

Bathroom not user friendly, and some nice biscuits in room would have been nice. Staff were brilliant and always had time to have a friendly work.

Unique for this B&B is the hospitality of Iain and Jack. They make for you a delicious breakfast every morning and serve it in their kitchen. In the evening you can read a book in their superb living room. So many details in their house. A pleasure to see around. The bedroom and bathroom are very clean.

Lovely little gem great wedding location. We just stayed for the one night but definitely recommend will be back.

This is the most fabulous hotel. The buildings from 1810 arranged around the courtyard are beautiful. The staff are all true professionals, courteous, helpful, knowledgeable, all with a smile. Our room was lovely with a view down to the Tamar and beautifully presented. Now to the dining where do you start? The food was I think the best we have ever eaten. The menu was a complete gastronomic experience from breakfast to dinner. We will definitely return.

Clean room, helpful staff, appropriate amenities. Parking was a little issue but this was outside of the staff’s control and they provided appropriate alternative parking as our initial space was taken by a member of the public

We had a pleasant stay-the room was clean and spacious, swimming pool, sauna and a restaurant were great too. Very friendly to families, highly recommend.
